Meet The Couple

Jeremy & Emily Zimmer Tibbetts

Jeremy Tibbetts studied Public Health at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and currently learns at Yeshivat Siach Yitzchak. He is the Director of Student Leadership at Yavneh On Campus, where he works with students on over 40 college campuses to build local Jewish communities and establish a campus-wide Jewish student movement. He is also the senior educator for Yavneh Bayit and co-directed OU-JLIC Ascend for two years. He has published writings in a variety of outlets, including Hevria and the Lehrhaus. Jeremy lives with his wife Emily and their dog Rosie in Baka, Jerusalem, where he loves to study mysticism, play tennis, and write. He is always in the mood for a seltzer. Meet The Couple

Sylvie and Max Librach

Max is from Toronto and studied at McMaster University, where he was involved in just about every aspect of Jewish life on campus! He served as president of Hillel, led Israel on Campus, and learned with students through Maimonides (Ohr Sameach). He was a driving force behind strengthening Jewish life at McMaster and helped pave the way for JLIC to eventually launch there. He then went on to pursue a Master’s of Science degree at University of Toronto (UofT) before fulfilling his long-time dream of studying in Yeshiva at Shapells in Jerusalem, where he has been learning for the past two years, BH! Hannah Midzuk-Labe and Eytan Labe

Eytan and Hannah Labe bring together a powerful combination of passion for Jewish education, leadership, and community building. Eytan has a decade of experience in informal Jewish education, having rebuilt and led Bnei Akiva Cape Town as its Head, worked as an Informal Jewish Educator at Herzlia Schools, and most recently served as the Coordinator of Diller Teen Fellows Cape Town. Alongside his community roles, he excelled academically, completing a Business Science degree in Finance with Accounting at UCT. Hannah’s journey combines academic excellence in biomedical sciences and neurophysiology with extensive leadership and teaching experience.
